Artificial Modelling / Terms of use

A clear basis
for using the site.

These terms cover the public website and its demonstrations. Paid work is scoped and agreed separately in writing.

Website information and project agreements

This website introduces Artificial Modelling’s AI model and synthetic data services. Reading it, running Signal Lab or sending an enquiry does not create a paid engagement. Services, fees, taxes, milestones, deliverables, acceptance, ownership, confidentiality, data handling and support must be set out in an agreed project document.

A project agreement governs the work it covers. General website information does not override that agreement. The website has no checkout, subscriptions or online payment collection.

Acceptable use

You may browse the site, use its public demonstrations and download available materials subject to their stated licences. Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious code through an enquiry, misrepresent your identity, or use the website to infringe another person’s rights.

Only send material you are entitled to share. Agree confidentiality and data permissions before sharing project records or sensitive information.

Content, licences and attribution

Artificial Modelling’s branding and original website materials remain with their respective rights holders. You may link to the site and reference the studio accurately. Permission for other reuse depends on the applicable licence or agreement; contact us if no licence is stated.

Signal Lab uses the AI4I 2020 Predictive Maintenance Dataset by Stephan Matzka, distributed by the UCI Machine Learning Repository under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The downloadable data card records attribution and changes. Keep the required attribution and change notices with reused or derived benchmark data. Website branding is not covered by that dataset licence.

Client model, code and dataset ownership and reuse rights are determined by the project agreement and any relevant third-party licences.

Demonstrations and outputs

Signal Lab and the case study are engineering demonstrations using an attributed public synthetic benchmark. Results vary with settings and do not establish performance on a client’s data or real equipment. Outputs are not calibrated risk probabilities or instructions for operating machinery.

Synthetic data and duplicate checks do not provide a formal anonymity or privacy guarantee. Evaluate outputs for the intended use before relying on them. See the disclaimer for the demonstrations’ limits.

Availability, links and responsibility

Website content and demonstrations may change, be interrupted or contain errors. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or fitness for every use. External links and email applications are operated by their respective providers.

Responsibility for paid work is addressed in the project agreement. Nothing in these website terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
